The average person spends up to 90 per cent of their time indoors, so interior environments have the potential to make a significant impact. Our surroundings can affect our thoughts, feelings, behaviour, and productivity. An interior designer’s job is to consider how colour and contrast work alongside acoustics and lighting to create ideal environments to live, relax, and work.
The University of New Haven's interior design program leading to the Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design with a General or Pre-Architecture concentration is accredited by the Council for Interior Design.
