The only way to join the profession of prosthetics and orthotics in the UK is by graduating with an Honours degree in prosthetics and orthotics, which is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council. Strathclyde's BSc (Hons) programme, within the Department of Biomedical Engineering, is one of only two approved degrees in the UK.
We run the only course in the UK with accreditation from the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics.
