Course Overview
The Environmental Engineering programme was developed to prepare engineers who can contribute to sustainable development and environmental protection. Over the years, the field has grown as governments, industries, and communities seek solutions for climate change, resource management, pollution control, and clean water systems.
Students study topics such as water and wastewater treatment, environmental chemistry, waste management, life-cycle assessment, environmental monitoring, and circular economy practices. Laboratory work and project-based learning help students connect scientific knowledge with practical applications. The programme supports the development of technical expertise that can be applied in public agencies, consulting firms, industrial companies, research institutions, and environmental organisations.
Graduates can continue to master's studies or enter careers related to environmental management, sustainability consulting, water treatment systems, waste management, environmental monitoring, and industrial environmental services. The international focus of the programme helps students build knowledge that can be applied across different countries and industries.
