Course Overview
The program builds knowledge in programming, software design, systems analysis, and data handling. Early study focuses on core computing areas such as algorithms, programming logic, and computer systems. Later study includes artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and advanced software development topics.
Students complete lab tasks and project work that reflect real computing problems. The final-year project allows independent work with academic support and feedback.
Graduates are prepared for roles in software development, IT services, data analysis, cybersecurity, and system design. The degree also supports progression into postgraduate study in computing science, artificial intelligence, and related fields.
General Eligibility
Applicants must complete higher secondary education with strong performance in Mathematics. Background in Computing or Physics is helpful.
Scholarships may include merit-based awards and government-supported schemes. Application is completed through the University of Malta admissions portal with academic transcripts, passport copy, and English test results.
Part Time Work Details
Up to 20 hours per week during study period, full-time during breaks (subject to visa rules)
