Mechanical engineering is among the broadest engineering disciplines, giving you various career options. You can seek employment in almost every industry sector, including automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, marine, medical, rail, power, processing, chemical, oil and gas, and food production industries.

General Eligibility

96-112 points from any combination of acceptable Level 3 qualifications. Examples include A-level, BTEC, Access to HE Diplomas, Scottish and Irish Highers, T-Level, or the International Baccalaureate.

Subject requirements:

• Level 3 Mathematics

• Accredited prior learning

• Admission with advanced standing can be considered if you have studied at level 4 or higher (e.g. HNC) in a relevant subject.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• The IELTS score for international applicants is 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
