The program builds skills in electronics design, communication systems, and signal processing. Early study units focus on circuit theory, mathematics for engineering, and basic programming used in embedded systems. Later stages move into wireless systems, digital communications, and microelectronics.
Students complete lab work using modern equipment for testing circuits and communication modules. Group projects form a large part of study tasks, where students design and evaluate electronic systems in practice-based settings. These tasks support readiness for engineering roles in telecom and electronics sectors.
Graduates often take roles in telecommunications companies, electronics manufacturing, and embedded system development. Some continue to master’s studies in electrical engineering or related fields. The study path connects classroom learning with practical engineering tasks found in industry settings in Finland and abroad.
