Course Overview
The programme builds strong knowledge in global politics, diplomacy, and policy studies. Students study international systems, political theory, and the work of global organisations.
Coursework includes policy writing, case study analysis, and research projects. Students gain practice in writing structured reports and reviewing international developments using academic sources.
The dissertation stage gives space for focused research on a selected political or diplomatic topic with academic guidance.
Graduates move into roles in government departments, embassies, international agencies, policy research groups, media, and consultancy fields. The programme also supports progression to doctoral study in international relations or political science.

- Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, Political Science, Social Sciences, or related field
- Academic transcripts from previous study

Part Time Work Details
Up to 20 hours per week during study period under Malta student work rules

- IELTS: 6.5 overall (minimum 6.0 in each band)
- TOEFL iBT: 90 overall
- PTE Academic: 58–65 overall
- Duolingo English Test: 110–120
