Course Overview
The program builds knowledge in human biology, disease mechanisms, and laboratory testing methods. Early study covers core science subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, and chemistry. Later study focuses on clinical diagnostics, immunology, and biomedical analysis.
Students gain hands-on experience through laboratory sessions using modern diagnostic tools. Training includes sample analysis, quality control methods, and safe laboratory practice. The final-year project allows work on a focused biomedical topic with supervision.
Graduates can enter roles in hospital laboratories, diagnostic centres, research institutes, and healthcare support services. The program also supports further study in biomedical science, medical diagnostics, and related health science areas.
