Course Overview

The BBC is one of several broadcasters committed to significant investment in the North East film and TV industry over the next five years. Teesside University is ideally placed to support your development within the heart of a growing and thriving broadcasting community.

You have access to industry-standard facilities, including two working television studios, a fully operational radio station, digital film production equipment, grading and edit suites, and the full range of software available through the Adobe Creative Suite. We also have our very own multimedia platform - TUXtra - which showcases content produced by students and volunteers across the university.

General Eligibility

  • Any combination of level 3 qualifications. Each application is considered on a case-by-case basis.

  • We may also be able to help you meet the entry requirements through our Summer University short courses.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • The IELTS score for international applicants is 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
