Course Overview
Our graduates now work as reporters, presenters, researchers, content creators, producers, marketing executives and social media managers with various broadcasters, brands, organisations and governing bodies. They are at Sky Sports, BBC, S4C, Whisper Films, WRU, FAW, Hockey Wales, Glamorgan Cricket, Bath Rugby, Livewire Sports, Sunset and Vine, BT Sport, DAZN, Sail GP, ATP, JD Sports and IMG. There is also the opportunity to pursue further academic study in the area of Sports Media and Sports Broadcast should any students wish to explore a PHD in a sports media-related field.
General Eligibility
Applicants for the MSc in Sports Broadcast are expected to satisfy the following requirements:
A good honours degree (usually 2.1 or above), ideally in any Sport, Broadcast, Media or Journalism or Humanities subject
Or students with 2.1 degrees in other subjects, provided they have a passion for sports media and/or digital broadcast technology and a desire to find and tell fascinating sports stories.
Part Time Work Details
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
