Course Overview

You’ll develop practical skills in marketing, creative strategy, journalism, and social media management through the lens of ethically engaged media activism, balancing creative and design work with research into online influencers and media ethics.

Throughout the degree, you’ll examine the role of immersive media, feminist activism, AI communications, exhibitions, and public audiences, and much more in shaping the future of media communications.

You’ll bring together your ability to rethink the media with your deep-rooted knowledge of the communications sectors, working on everything from short-form Instagram content to large-scale media campaigns with our industry partners.

General Eligibility

  • Indian students with 65% marks at Grade XII / Pakistani students with 70% marks at Grade XII

  • A Level – Grades BCC

  • Accredited Prior Learning equivalent to Year 1 and Year 2.

  • Other equivalent qualifications from EduQual/BTEC with Merit.

  • Copy of latest school credentials

  • Passport copy

  • Emirates ID (if any)

  • Visa Page Copy

  • Passport Size ID photo

Successful completion of one of the following:

  • A recognized post-secondary course.

  • University preparation (foundation) studies.

  • One year of study at a recognized tertiary or higher education institution.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • A mandatory English Language Test by Bath Spa University UK conducted in the Bath Spa University Academic Center RAK Campus; or IELTS (Academic) test results with an overall score of 6.0, a minimum score of 5.5 for each skill/band.
