Course Overview

The Business BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Business is a two-year course that provides you with insight into the business sector and provides realistic examples of where the theory learned can and should be applied. It covers various aspects of business theory; 3 units will be studied in the first year and 3 teams in the second.

In the new business qualification, you will be assessed by both internal coursework and external exams.

Students who successfully pass all units in year one can progress to year two.

This Business BTEC Level 3 qualification is a highly specialist course designed to give you the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to prepare for employment in the business sector. It is equivalent to one A Level between grades A* - C.

General Eligibility

You will need 5 GCSE Grades 4-9, including English and maths.

Other subjects that combine well with business are law, English, photography, politics and film studies

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

  • IELTS 5.5; Reading and writing must be at 5.5
