Optics and photonics are considered one of the most essential critical enabling technologies of the 21st century. The term “Photonics” stresses that the particle aspects of light are crucial in the generation, manipulation, transmission and detection of light and its applications. The course allows you to explore and master an extensive range of photonic technologies, enabling you to put devices in the context of an optical system and application.
