You’ll become an adept visual communicator, developing your skill via modules that focus on process, narrative, typography, branding and critical thinking. With an emphasis on design thinking and the communication of visual ideas, you’ll learn how to respond to project briefs and solve problems with focused and original thinking, communicated across a range of print and digital platforms.
Expert tutors and professional networks support this journey, helping you to rigorously define your design voice and preparing you for working in industry or postgraduate study.
You will:
Have an opportunity to visit London studios, such as brand design studios Wiedemann Lampe and Turner Duckworth, advertising agency BBH, and Pentagram – one of the world’s largest independent design consultancies
Enjoy optional travel to cities abroad to gain global perspectives on the subject
Work on graphic design briefs created with and supported by industry practitioners to build your network
Have the chance to enter creative competitions such as D&AD, ISTD and the Creative Conscience Awards
Create an industry-standard portfolio in your final year as a catalyst for your career
