Environmental Monitoring Technology

A program focused on environmental monitoring and related science at Beihang University benefits from the school’s established research strengths in engineering and sensing technologies. The curriculum supports environmental data skills and exposure to measurement tools and techniques that are used in air quality, water testing, and ecological monitoring. Through laboratories, field measurement practice, and data interpretation tasks, students build measurable skills that align with roles in environmental agencies, quality testing centers, and technical services.

Beihang’s international connections, research platforms, and innovation institutes — including units involved with carbon neutralization and sensing research — add options for applied learning and project participation. Graduates have academic foundations useful for environmental positions or postgraduate study in areas linked to monitoring, remote sensing, or environmental assessment.

Applicants should hold a senior high school diploma or equivalent. International candidates apply via Beihang’s international admissions portal, submitting academic transcripts, passport copy, language test results, and a study plan. Eligibility may include age limits and health requirements per Chinese Ministry of Education guidelines. Scholarships such as the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) or Beihang‑level awards may be available for qualified students.

Permitted with university and visa approval; limited weekly hours for international students
