Course Overview

The six-month Chinese Language Program at Linyi University was created to support short-term learners who need basic Mandarin skills for study, travel, or daily life in China. Since its introduction, the program has expanded class levels and teaching materials to match student needs. Course content is reviewed regularly to match standard language use and HSK goals.

Students gain a clear language base through guided speaking practice, listening exercises, and classroom interaction. Cultural lessons and local activities help students use Chinese outside class. Many participants continue into longer language programs or degree studies at Chinese universities. The program shows steady growth in international enrolment and maintains a clear focus on practical language learning.

General Eligibility

Applicants must have completed secondary education or an equivalent level. Required documents include academic certificates, passport copy, application form, and health form. Scholarships may be available through Linyi University or regional programs, depending on availability. Applications are submitted online or through authorized representatives.

Part Time Work Details

Allowed with university and local approval; limited weekly hours

Language Requirement

• No English language test is required. All teaching is focused on Chinese language learning. Basic English may help with daily communication, though it is not required.
