Course Overview

The Computer Science and Technology program at NUIST has grown since its launch to serve both domestic and international students with solid academic structure and practical training. Students follow a curriculum that covers hardware, software, programming, system design, and application development. General Eligibility

• Applicants must be high-school graduates (or expected graduates), with good academic performance. 

• Required application documents: passport copy, high school transcript/certificate (or expected graduation certificate), English proficiency test (if required), bank statement, non-criminal record, study plan, and other supporting documents in English or Chinese. 

• Scholarships available: NUIST Excellent Freshmen Scholarship — either full tuition waiver (first-class) or 50% tuition waiver (second-class) for outstanding freshmen. 

• Other possible scholarships: Chinese Government Scholarship, Jiangsu Government Scholarship, provincial or municipal scholarships (depending on eligibility).

Part Time Work Details

NUIST offers scholarships and financial aid, but part-time work for international students depends on visa and university regulations; not clearly defined publicly.

Language Requirement

• • Accepted tests: TOEFL (minimum 80) or IELTS (minimum 6.0) for applicants whose native language is not English.
