During the course you will: Develop your skills and knowledge in materials selection and design. Gain in-depth understanding of key factors shaping the design and selection of materials used in advanced engineering applications, their processing, properties and stability. Develop valued research, team working, data analysis and communication skills. Study at a university ranked 4 th in the UK and among the top 30 in the world for Materials Science (QS World University Rankings 2021). Accredited by the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), leading to Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
