Like all undergraduate majors at the Barney School, you will also complete an internship before you graduate.

Junior and Senior Years

  • Three of the following: INS 320, INS 322, INS 324, INS 430 (9 credits)

  • INS 434 - Risk Analysis and Management 3 credit(s)

  • INS 480P - Internship in Risk Management and Insurance 3 credit(s)

  • Two additional electives in risk management and insurance, or with permission of advisor: actuarial science, finance or business analytics (6 credits)

  • Note: one elective in insurance can be INS 481 - Independent Study in Insurance.
