Course Overview
The Master’s in Environmental Engineering builds strong skills in water treatment systems, pollution control methods, and environmental data analysis. Students take part in research-based teaching that connects theory with practical engineering tasks. Laboratory sessions and project work give hands-on experience in solving real environmental challenges.
The program has grown with strong research activity in water systems, circular economy solutions, and sustainable urban infrastructure. Collaboration with industry and public sector organizations gives students exposure to current environmental needs in Finland and other regions.
Graduates often work in environmental consultancy firms, municipal engineering departments, industrial sustainability teams, and research institutes. The program supports further academic study as well, including doctoral research in environmental and civil engineering fields.
