Bachelor of Interior Design

... Spain
... UDIT - University of Design, Innovation and Technology

Course Overview

The Bachelor in Interior Design at UDIT has developed as an official four-year design degree with a strong practical focus. UDIT was among the institutions that brought Interior Design into university-level design education in Spain, and the programme now combines traditional drawing and spatial design with digital tools, construction knowledge, sustainability, lighting, furniture and project management.

Students receive professional practice as part of the programme, and UDIT reports more than 2,400 active internship partnerships. The degree has links with design companies and professional events, including Casa Decor, where UDIT Interior Design students have participated for many years.

The course can prepare graduates for roles such as interior designer, lighting designer, furniture designer, exhibition designer, retail consultant, project manager, set designer and public-space designer. Its English-language format gives students a useful base for study and professional work across different countries.

Language Requirement

  • The Bachelor in Interior Design is taught 100% in English, so English proficiency is required. UDIT's international admissions information states that applicants to English programmes need a minimum B2 level.

    Exam Minimum / Accepted Level
IELTS Academic B2-equivalent score; confirm the current required score with UDIT Admissions
TOEFL B2-equivalent result; confirm the current required score with UDIT Admissions
PTE Accepted English qualification; B2-equivalent level required
Duolingo English Test Confirm acceptance and the current B2-equivalent score with UDIT Admissions
Other accepted qualifications UDIT lists Cambridge qualifications, TOEFL, IELTS, APTIS, LanguageCert/LanguageSkills and other recognised certificates depending on the admission route.

Note: UDIT's current international admissions page states the requirement as B2, rather than publishing one fixed IELTS, TOEFL, PTE or Duolingo score for every English programme. Applicants should obtain the current score equivalence from UDIT before submitting the application.
