Course Overview

The BA in International Relations and Diplomacy gives students four years of study in international affairs, political science, diplomacy, economics, law and global cooperation. The 120-credit curriculum combines general education with specialist subjects such as Modern Diplomacy, American Foreign Policy, Practical Diplomacy, International Relations of the Pacific Rim Region, Writing for Foreign Affairs and Global Trends in International Relations.

The program includes practical learning through internships, policy projects, Model UN activities, debates and networking events. Schiller states that internships can begin from the first year. Students can study at four international campuses and transfer between campuses after Year 1, subject to availability.

The program has grown within Schiller's long-standing international education model. The university reports more than 20,000 alumni from 130+ countries and offers students access to an international alumni network.
