Course Overview

Economics is about choice and the impact of our choices on each other. When you study economics you gain a toolkit of skills, approaches, and ways of thinking that you can apply to a wide range of problems.

The Economics pathway of this Business and Management degree will enable you to address global challenges and local opportunities by applying economics to policy problems - focusing on issues such as climate change, sustainability, well-being and obesity, inequality, and unemployment.

General Eligibility

• Indian students with 65% marks at Grade XII / Pakistani students with 70% marks at Grade XII

• A Level – Grades BCC

• Accredited Prior Learning equivalent to Year 1 and Year 2.

• Other equivalent qualifications from EduQual/BTEC with Merit.

• Copy of latest school credentials

• Passport copy

• Emirates ID (if any)

• Visa Page copy

• Passport Size ID photo

Successful completion of one of the following:

• A recognised post-secondary course.

• University preparation (foundation) studies.

• One year of study at a recognised tertiary or higher education institution.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• A mandatory English Language Test by Bath Spa University UK conducted in the Bath Spa University Academic Center RAK Campus; or IELTS (Academic) test results with an overall score of 6.0, a minimum score of 5.5 for each skill/band.
