The purpose of Pearson BTEC Higher Nationals in Healthcare Practice is to develop students as professional, self-reflecting individuals, able to meet the demands of employers in the health and social care sector and adapt to a constantly changing world. This will also help the healthcare providers to progress and develop as qualified professionals who can meet the demands of employers in the healthcare sector and familiarise themselves with continuously varying practices in the healthcare sector. This qualification will provide all the foundational building blocks you need for a fulfilling and successful career in the healthcare sector.

General Eligibility

The Pearson BTEC Higher National qualifications are accredited on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF)for learners aged 18 years and over.

·   BTEC Level 3 qualification in a related subject area

·   GCE Advanced Level profile demonstrating robust performance in a relevant subject (likely to be supported by GCSE grades at A* to C)

·   Other related Level 3 qualifications

·   Access to a higher education certificate or relevant work experience

·   Interview

Students who are non-native English speakers or who have not studied Level 3 in United Kingdom should have an accepted English language B2 (CEFR) or IELTS 5.5 with a minimum of 5.0 awarded on individual sections.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• The IELTS score for international applicants is 5.5 (with no less than 5.0 in each component).
