Legal Executive Practice (CILEx) Professional Diploma

Course Overview

As part of this course, you’ll:

• Develop your existing legal knowledge and work towards becoming a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer and a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEX)

• Be able to fit your studies around your existing work commitments

• Study on campus on a weekly basis through immersive three-hour workshops

• Gain a detailed understanding of two specific areas of law

• Develop the specialist knowledge that is central to client care, including professional conduct, negotiation and legal writing

• Use case studies to gain real insight into legal practice

General Eligibility

Applicants should have at least a second-class honours qualifying Law or a Graduate Diploma in Law. Applicants are required to provide a letter from their awarding institution to confirm they hold a qualifying Law degree.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• IELTS 6.0 with no skills below 5.5, or an equivalent qualification.
