Learn practical engineering skills to design, develop, manage or maintain mechanical devices for a range of industries in this practical programme. This two-year standardised diploma has been designed by industry to meet the needs of the New Zealand engineering sector. The programme consists of core and elective courses focused on the design and implementation of engineering technology and will utilise your maths and physics ability and your problem-solving skills.
You will gain a solid grounding in engineering theory and principles of engineering science including design and drawing, materials, fluids, thermodynamics and production. Engineers are in demand and successful graduates will be able to seek work as Engineering Technicians.
