The UCSOP offers a technology-infused, dynamic, and rigorous curriculum that prepares our graduates to practice in today's rapidly changing healthcare environment. We are proud to train tomorrow's pharmacists for compassionate patient care, advocacy, and community engagement.
We believe experiencing the pharmacy profession and how the classroom relates to the practice is fundamental. Therefore, experiential (practice site) opportunities are threaded throughout the curriculum during the program's first three years. The fourth year is spent almost entirely in practice settings, with students returning to campus once a semester to participate in specialty certificate training and other offerings.
