Our Bioveterinary Science degree utilizes the strengths of the University of Chester in the areas of biology, behavior, and welfare. These strengths offer an opportunity to study animal health not only at the physiological and cellular levels but also at the behavioral level.
This holistic approach to animal health offers anyone studying Bioveterinary Science at Chester an interesting and complete understanding of how a disease will impact an individual animal. The Bioveterinary Science course also aims to examine the wider implications of animal health by looking at how it impacts wildlife ecology, and also how animal health affects the human population.
You will focus on the diverse skills required to work in pathology laboratories that support the veterinary profession.
