BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Nutrition

Course Overview

This course provides an approach to sport and exercise nutrition that is based on the scientific and academic principles of physiology and biochemistry. It explores the social and psychological aspects that influence physical activity, food choices, nutrition and health.

By studying sport and exercise nutrition, you’ll understand how physical inactivity is a risk factor for a number of diseases, as well as the scientific principles underlying the nutritional requirements for physical activity, improved performance and health.

General Eligibility

• Indian students with 65% marks at Grade XII / Pakistani students with 70% marks at Grade XII

• A Level – Grades BCC

• Accredited Prior Learning equivalent to Year 1 and Year 2.

• Other equivalent qualifications from EduQual/BTEC with Merit.

• Copy of latest school credentials

• Passport copy

• Emirates ID (if any)

• Visa Page Copy

• Passport Size ID photo

Successful completion of one of the following:

• A recognized post-secondary course.

• University preparation (foundation) studies.

• One year of study at a recognized tertiary or higher education institution.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

• A mandatory English Language Test by Bath Spa University UK conducted in the Bath Spa University Academic Center RAK Campus; or IELTS (Academic) test results with an overall score of 6.0, a minimum score of 5.5 for each skill/band.
