Course Overview

Understanding the interplay between the written word and the moving image is a key to the understanding the world we live in. Combining the study of Film and English will allow you to explore textuality in its different manifestations as you learn how to and analyze stories in both written and audiovisual form. Youll be taught and supported by enthusiastic, internationally renowned professors, researchers, and media practitioners Youll be working in industry-standard production facilities. The course will develop your abilities to analyze, research, and write persuasively about a rich variety of films, shows, and filmmakers, from the latest superhero blockbusters through to quirky indie movies, world cinema, and amateur YouTube releases.
