Course Overview

The English Literature element of the course spans hundreds of years of inspiration, from the English Renaissance of the 16th century right up to the present day. So whether you love Elizabethan drama or twenty-first-century poetry, the Victorian period or Modernist writing, youll be able to indulge your tastes and gain some new interests. Your choices on the History side of your degree are equally wide-ranging. Well, cover the cultural, social, historical and political dimensions of critical events and eras that have significantly impacted today's civilisation. Along the way, youll be able to study conflicts, empires, disasters and more, from the medieval period to contemporary society.
