Course Overview

The International Year One in Electronic Engineering at the International Study Centre prepares you for one of two undergraduate degrees at Royal Holloway. As an equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree, this programme will prepare you to enter the second year of your chosen degree.

The International Year One in Electronic Engineering will help you to develop the required skills needed for delivering world class electronic engineering projects in many relevant fields. This course is designed to expose you to the practice of project design as an individual and as a member of a group, while encouraging you to apply creative ideas to solve engineering problems.

This programme will additionally support you with the required academic English language tuition, enabling you to improve your level of writing and speaking skills in order to successfully study a degree in English.

General Eligibility

  • IB Diploma and IB Certificate 26 points

  • A/AS levels 52 UCAS points (including native language)

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • Academic IELTS 5.5 overall (minimum 5.5 in all components)
