Course Overview

This course prepares you for a management career in world-class hotels, country clubs, theme parks, leisure centres, exhibition venues, or catering services. The course is designed around what the hospitality industry wants, ensuring you can go directly into challenging and rewarding jobs within multinational organizations nationally or globally. How will you learn? You will learn through practical application and creatively delivered lectures, workshops, seminars, and group work sessions. Youll be taught by lecturers who have experiences in the industry, who help you explore areas of marketing, human resources, and operations management and how these are applied to industry practice. Your studies will allow you to take a placement with a business, either in the UK or abroad. Previous students have undertaken placements in companies like Marriott, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Hilton, White Lodgings, De Vere, Park Plaza, Greenwich Country Club in Connecticut, Broken Sound Club in Florida, and Ovolo in Hong Kong.
