Course Overview

Marketing is one of the core disciplines of business. Study business and marketing together, and you'll have a unique understanding of both areas that could prove invaluable in the private or public sector. You'll learn through practical application and delivered lectures, workshops, seminars, and group work sessions. The marketing modules in the course provide you with fundamental marketing principles. We will examine marketing content and communications, consumers, and how to work with these. And will take a broader view of how marketing fits into the business environment. The business modules on the course enable you to focus on the business issues you're interested in. You'll begin to develop an understanding of just how complex organizations can be and how individual people, groups, and processes can affect a business's overall performance. In your third year, will allow you to take a placement year that could see you working in a business and gaining real-world experience.
