Do you want to top-up your existing qualifications to an MBA at a supportive, and career-focussed Business School?
The Roehampton MBA puts emphasis on the analysis of global organisations' best practices and strategies and it provides the opportunity to pursue a consultancy project with either a multinational corporation or a leading SME in London.
You will learn in a stimulating active blended learning environment that values critical appraisal and reflective practice. This programme has been designed with input from successful senior managers, and will equip you with an understanding of the needs of global business. This MBA will also prepare you for the challenges of senior management within an international business environment.
On this top-up programme, you will study two taught modules as well as complete a supervised applied research or a consultancy project.
The compulsory taught module is Problem Solving and Research Methods for Managers (20 credits) and will provide knowledge and practical insight into problem solving and research methods.
The compulsory third module is Applied Research or a Consultancy Project (20 credits). Drawing on the proposal developed in the Project Methods and Data Analysis Module, you will produce a management research/consultancy 6,000-word report.
On successful completion of your MBA you will have the knowledge, skills and confidence to lead and manage global business operations; to absorb complex information; to make difficult strategic decisions and communicate them effectively; and to lead and manage cross-cultural project teams
The Business School at Roehampton has a dedicated Careers Officer as well as a wide array of university careers resources that are made available to students to assist them in exploring career opportunities. You will be invited to specific career events such as Employability Week, Guest Speakers as well as Employer events at the university.
This programme is dual accredited to a CMI qualification. Upon successful completion of the programme, Roehampton on-campus students, will be eligible for a CMI L7 qualification in Strategic Management and Leadership (subject to passing the required mapped CMI modules and CMI moderation).
You should usually hold a second-class honours degree (certain programmes may require a 2:1) from a recognised British or overseas university.
