Course Overview

Develop your skills, knowledge, and understanding of computing and the engineering behind computer programs and databases whilst designing, developing, and producing computer software packages. You will study a range of modules, including software development, database systems, software engineering, and human-computer interaction, allowing you to gain a comprehensive understanding of the subject. Our regular seminars and guest speakers allow you to learn from those working within the industry, increasing your understanding of real-life situations you could face in your career. You will also have access to a range of conventional and specialized equipment and software, such as Windows Azure, Teradata, and Tableau, helping to further develop your skills and understanding.

General Eligibility

You should have, or expect to have, a degree in a subject other than computing, with a grade equivalent to at least a Class 2.2 Honours degree from a UK university, or equivalent qualifications.
