Course Overview
This programme builds knowledge in public health systems, community health planning, and health service delivery. Students study areas such as disease prevention, health policy, environmental health, and health data use. Learning tasks include case studies, group projects, written assignments, and applied research linked to public health settings.
Students develop skills in health communication, data handling, planning health programmes, and evaluating health services. Classroom sessions combine teaching input with practical tasks that reflect public health work situations. Feedback from academic staff supports progress across each module.
Graduates may move into roles in public health services, healthcare administration, health education, and NGO health projects. The course also supports entry to further study in public health and health sciences. The programme has developed through updated modules that reflect current practices used in health systems across different regions.
