By taking this degree, you will acquire the latest academic and professional knowledge in employee development, workplace learning, human resource management, and organizational performance and skills, enhancing your professional development and career prospects.
You will gain a comprehensive grounding and critical understanding of various HRM topics, including recruitment, managing labor relations, workplace learning, and employee development. You will also look at the culture of organizations and the workplace and the broader environmental factors that can impact the decision-making of human resource management and training professionals.
The degree will equip you with the skills and knowledge to engage critically with theories and practices around training and learning in the workplace and the role of the human resources practitioner. It will also develop your practical, transferable skills such as oral and written presentations, problem-solving, team-working, self-appraisal, and independence in the planning and management of learning.
A good UK honors degree or equivalent, a postgraduate diploma from a recognized institution, or an appropriate graduate-level professional qualification.
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
IELTS 6.5 or equivalent. If your first language is not English, you may need to prove your English ability. If you do not yet meet our requirements, our English Language Teaching Unit (ELTU) offers a range of courses to help you to improve your English to the necessary standard.
