Course Overview

Improve your Spanish language skills while also studying a wide range of history topics. European Politics is at the center of what we do and closely reflects the research expertise of the staff. The academic journal European Politics and Society is edited from within the department by a staff member. The MA degree means you study Politics alongside other subjects from History to Geography, languages to Psychology with an emphasis on modules with a European orientation. At Levels 3 and 4 you will be able to specialize with the European Union Politics and Simulation module allows students to model and simulates the operation of EU institutions using realistic scenarios. We are a small and friendly department, but you can choose from a diverse range of subjects with very few compulsory modules. Each lecturer focuses on teaching specialist areas in which they have an established track record of research.
