Course Overview
The Bachelor of Engineering in Industrial Management and Engineering combines engineering knowledge with business and management skills that are valued across many industries. Students gain practical experience through internships, company projects, laboratory work, and production planning assignments. The programme develops knowledge in manufacturing, quality management, logistics, project management, operations, automation, and industrial economics.
Students can take part in exchange programmes, applied research, and projects with industry partners. These activities help students build technical skills, management experience, and professional contacts before graduation.
Graduates are prepared for careers as production engineers, operations engineers, quality engineers, project engineers, logistics specialists, supply chain coordinators, manufacturing managers, industrial consultants, and business development professionals. The degree is recognised across the European Higher Education Area, giving graduates opportunities for employment and further study in Finland and many other countries.

Scholarships

Part Time Work Details
International students with a valid Finnish residence permit may work up to 30 hours per week on average during their studies. Full-time work is permitted during official holiday periods if study progress continues.
