Master of Science Nursing

The Master of Science in Nursing program at Western University prepares registered nurses and other healthcare professionals for advanced practice roles in nursing. The program focuses on the development of expertise in clinical practice, research, education, and leadership. Students will gain a deeper understanding of the theoretical foundations of nursing practice and develop the skills necessary to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The program is designed for registered nurses who have completed a bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field and are seeking to advance their knowledge and skills in nursing practice.

Additional Information

The program consists of 24 months of coursework, clinical placements, and research. Students will have the opportunity to work closely with faculty members who are experts in their fields and engage in cutting-edge research. The program is designed to prepare students for advanced practice roles in nursing, including nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, and nurse educator. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to sit for the Canadian Nurses Association certification examinations in their chosen advanced practice role.
