The BA (Hons) Graphic Design programme offered at LCCA will enable you to transform your ideas into visual creations. Youll consider typography, colour, shapes and shading and how combining these elements in a striking way can convey a strong message. To ensure youre equipped with the skills and knowledge to find the perfect role once you graduate, this bachelors graphic design degree reflects the graphic design industry. While other graphic design degrees teach you the theory, our programme ensures you practice it. Using top-of-the-range software, our extensive industry connections and studio spaces, youll build a powerful skill set that will prepare you to convey your ideas and to operate in a business-like fashion within the creative industries. Throughout the programme, youll also engage with a series of workshops on typography, printmaking, photography, motion design and much more. By the time you graduate, youll be a knowledgeable graphic designer capable of communicating the theory behind your ideas, the history of the industry and creating work that captures your audience.
The standard entry requirements for this three-year BA (Hons) Graphic Design course are one of the following:
112 new UCAS tariff points
Pass at Foundation Diploma in Art & Design (Level 3 or 4)
Merit, Pass, Pass at BTEC Extended Diploma
Merit at UAL Extended Diploma
112 new UCAS tariff points from an accredited Access to Higher Education Diploma in an appropriate subject
27-30 points from the International Baccalaureate
And four GCSE passes at grade A*-C and/or grades 4-9 including English (or Functional Skills English/Key Skills Communication Level 2).
20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
