Course Overview

Develop the advanced technical expertise you need for a successful career in a range of professions. Youll be able to explore the many branches of psychological research, from neuroscience to consumer behavior. A key strength of this course is the combination of advanced modules dedicated specifically to qualitative and to quantitative research. In these, you will develop key skills that will allow you to flexibly combine and use both approaches effectively. These modules are based on the guidelines published by the Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC). By the time you graduate youll have a deep understanding of psychology research, its methods, technologies, and current knowledge. As well as being perfect for you if youre aiming for a career in research, our course is ideal for careers in clinical, forensic, health, sport, and occupational psychology, as well as government, business, and marketing.

General Eligibility

Either 2.2 in BA or BSc Psychology with Graduate Basis for Recognition (GBR) for the British Psychology Society (BPS) OR 2.1 or above in non-accredited BA or BSc Psychology (or closely related discipline, e.g., Health Psychology, Joint honors Psychology, or Neuropsychology).

Language Requirement

  • If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
