Course Overview

Youre curious, determined, and ready to go global with your career. You want to know how laws relating to international commercial practice are created and enforced and put your new knowledge into practice as a legal practitioner. As a postgraduate International Commercial Law student at ARU, youll advance your knowledge of fundamental themes such as commercial contracts, transnational commercial law, and international commercial arbitration. Youll gain a unique insight into how the grammar of law was shaped that you can take all over the world after graduation. Theres also the chance to find out more about comparative company law with our optional module. And youll sharpen your research skills and put them to use on your Major Project, which is a brilliant opportunity to explore an area of international commercial law youre passionate about.

General Eligibility

A first degree, with honors, in a related subject and at a minimum final classification of a lower second (2:2) or equivalent.

• If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 ( Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
