The programme builds strong knowledge in chemical theory and laboratory practice. Students learn how chemical processes work at molecular level and how these principles apply in industry and research. Training includes structured lab work that develops precision, safety awareness, and data handling skills.
The course supports progression into advanced studies in chemistry and related fields. Many graduates continue into master’s programmes at the University of Helsinki or other international universities. Others join chemical, pharmaceutical, and environmental sectors.
Teaching has grown through long-standing scientific research activity in Finland. Students gain access to modern lab equipment and participate in practical assignments linked to real scientific problems. The programme supports development of analytical thinking and technical skills used in laboratory and industrial settings.
