Our postgraduate diploma is designed for NMC-registered nurses who want to build on their existing knowledge, skills and experience. The course is 50% theory and 50% practice. Half of your time will be spent in practice with a qualified district nurse as your Practice Assessor, developing your skills in the delivery of high-quality care in the community. Multidisciplinary working is integral to community work and is reflected throughout our course, both in the classroom and in practice. If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 (Academic level- with no individual score being lower than 6.0) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
