Our postgraduate diploma is designed for NMC-registered nurses who want to build on their existing knowledge, skills and experience. The course is 50% theory and 50% practice. Half of your time will be spent in practice with a qualified district nurse as your Practice Assessor, developing your skills in the delivery of high-quality care in the community. Multidisciplinary working is integral to community work and is reflected throughout our course, both in the classroom and in practice. Choose to study in a location that suits you €“ Cambridge or Chelmsford €“ and gain a professional qualification in just one year.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.5 (Academic level- with no individual score being lower than 6.0) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
