Course Overview

Upon successful completion of the recruitment process, frequent start dates are available. Most of your training will take place on the job with one of the East of England police forces including; Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Kent, Norfolk, and Suffolk. Youll work alongside experienced police officers with work-based study and attendance at regional police training centers. This training is delivered as a partnership between your employing Force and ARU. The first part of your study will take place at a regional police center. However, youll spend most of your training on the job, working as part of your local policing team alongside experienced officers, and fully supported in putting your learning into practice.

  • If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
