Course Overview

Electrical and electronic engineers are at the forefront of the challenge to connect our world. Their work impacts almost every area of our lives, including communications, commerce, entertainment, manufacturing, healthcare, transport, energy, and the environment. Our Electrical and Engineering MEng (Hons) course, which includes a Masters's year, will prepare you to play an important part in designing and building more efficient and affordable technology to provide a robust and green energy network. The knowledge and skills you develop will help us live better, healthier, smarter, and more sustainable lives. With an emphasis on Industry 4.0 concepts, you'll learn about the latest developments and techniques in a variety of cutting-edge areas of engineering, such as Digital Signal Processing (DSP), robotics, AI, the internet of things (IoT), power electronics, and sustainable technologies, so you'll graduate well-prepared to enter the workplace.

General Eligibility

  • 128 UCAS Tariff points from a minimum of 2 A Levels (or equivalent) including a pass in Mathematics.

  • 4 GCSEs including English Language and Science grade C, or grade 4 or above, and Maths grade B or grade 6.

Part Time Work Details

20 Hours of Work permit weekly for international students.

Language Requirement

  • The IELTS score for international applicants to Joint Honours is 6.0 (with no less than 5.5 in each component).
