This course will extend your knowledge of the key areas of responsibility for construction managers, including site engineering surveying, project planning and management, law, business, and construction technology. Theres a strong practical dimension in the shape of role play and group work €“ and youll explore a specialist topic in-depth during the major project/dissertation phase. By the time you complete our course, youll be a confident problem-solver and leader, with a sound understanding of the key issues youre likely to encounter in site or project management. Additionally, youll have studied the construction management role in-depth, be familiar with its methods, and be able to manage your own contribution and development in this fast-paced industry.
You'll need to have completed a recognized Higher National Diploma (HND) in construction. All applicants must show that they have a good level of spoken or written English, and if English is not your first language you'll need to demonstrate the ability to study in English.
If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 6.0 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognized by Anglia Ruskin University.
