Course Overview

As part of your course, you'll:

  • Explore the philosophies, values and cultural assumptions that underpin key counselling perspectives

  • Work in groups to review your counselling experiences

  • Share ideas and thoughts on different approaches to improve your practice

  • Investigate and discuss a wide range of counselling approaches. This will include the relational approach and cognitive behavioural therapy, widely used in the NHS today

General Eligibility

GCSEs

  • GCSE English Language at Grade 4 or above (Grade C for GCSEs taken before 2017) or equivalent. Key Skills Level 2, Functional Skills Level 2 and the Certificate in Adult Literacy are accepted in place of GCSEs.

Part Time Work Details

20 hours of work permit weekly for international students.
